Roman Catholic Diocese of Tulle

Located in France Tulle diocese (Latin: Dioecesis Tutelensis ) was established already in 1317. Here, the location in Tulle abbey was elevated to cathedral and its last abbot of the first bishop. After the bishopric was secularized in the course of the French Revolution, his area came to the bishopric of Limoges. For this it was taken on October 6, 1822 and established as a separate diocese again.
