The Diocese of Venice (Latin: Dioecesis Venetiae in Florida ) is a nation located in Florida in the United States Roman Catholic diocese based in Venice.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution postulate quandoque on June 16, 1984 annexations of the dioceses Orlando, Saint Petersburg and of the Archdiocese of Miami, where it was assumed as a suffragan.

The Diocese of Venice includes the counties of Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Highlands, Lee, Manatee and Sarasota Florida State.
