The Diocese of Wilcannia -Forbes (Latin Dioecesis Vilcanniensis - Forbesinus ) is a location in Australia Roman Catholic diocese based in Wilcannia.

History

The Diocese of Wilcannia -Forbes was on June 10, 1887 by Pope Pius IX. built out of territory of the dioceses Armidale, Bathurst and Goulburn Diocese of Wilcannia as the Archdiocese of Sydney and is a suffragan. The diocese of Wilcannia was renamed on 28 July 1917 in the diocese of Wilcannia -Forbes.
