Roman Catholic Diocese of Wuchang
The Diocese of Wuchang (Latin: Dioecesis Uciamensis ) is a located in the People's Republic of China Roman Catholic diocese based in Wuchang.
History
The Diocese of Wuchang was posted on December 12, 1923 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Quo Christianized from annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate of Eastern Hubei Wuchang as Apostolic Prefecture. The Apostolic Prefecture of Wuchang was on May 31, 1930 Pius XI. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Venerable frater Apostolic Vicariate.
The Apostolic Vicariate of Wuchang was posted on April 11, 1946 by Pope Pius XII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Hankow is a suffragan.
