Roman Catholic Diocese of Yendi

The Diocese of Yendi (Latin: Dioecesis Yendensis ) is a location in Ghana Roman Catholic diocese based in Yendi. It includes the municipalities of Yendi, Gushiegu, Karago, Bimbilla, Saboba - Chereponi, Zabzugu - Tatal in the Northern Region.

History

Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Sollertem sane on 16 March 1999 from cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Tamale, which it was assumed as a suffragan. Since the establishment of the local Ordinary Vincent Boi - Nai, SVD.
