Roman Catholic Territorial Prelature of Cristalândia

The Territorialprälatur Cristalândia (Latin Territorialis Praelatura Cristalandiensis ) is a located in Brazil Roman Catholic Territorialprälatur based in Cristalândia in the state of Tocantins.

History

The Territorialprälatur Cristalândia was born on March 26, 1956 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Papal Bull Ne quid Filiis of annexations of Territorialprälatur Bananal. The Territorialprälatur was the Archdiocese of Goiânia assumed as suffragan. On 13 May 1969, the Territorialprälatur Cristalândia joined parts of their territory from establishing the Territorialprälatur São Félix. A further transfer of territory on 27 March 1976 establishing the Conceição do Araguaia Territorialprälatur Santíssima. On 27 March 1996, the Territorialprälatur Cristalândia was the Archdiocese of Palmas assumed as suffragan.
