Roman Ogaza

Roman Grzegorz Ogaza ( born November 17, 1952 in Katowice, † March 4, 2006 in Forbach, near Metz / France) was a Polish football player.

The striker began his career in 1965 at Gornik Lędziny. This club merged later called henceforth GKS Tychy. The next clubs were then Gornik Zabrze (1968-1970) and Szombierki Bytom (1970-1975 and 1978-1983), with whom he won the 1980 Polish Championship. He then moved to France and played for RC Lens (1983-1984) and Olympique d' Alès (1984-1986), U.S. Forbach (1987-1991) and SG Marienau (1991). In between, he played in 1986 for the Belgian club Royal Francs Borains (1986).

In 1974, his national team career began when you took on April 13 against Haiti in Port -au -Prince. In the discharged the following summer World Cup in the Federal Republic of Germany, he was not yet used. At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, however, he was in the Polish squad and brought a silver medal home. On February 23, 1981 ended his career in the national team in the match against Portugal. This was his 21st commitment for the Polish team. In total, he scored six goals for Poland.
