Roman Shchurenko
Roman Schtschurenko (Ukrainian Роман Щуренко, English transcription novel Shchurenko, . Born September 14, 1976 in Nikopol ) is a Ukrainian long jumper.
The greatest success of his career celebrated at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, when he surprisingly won the bronze medal in the long jump with a distance of 8.31 m. At the European Athletics Championships in Munich in 2002 he finished fourth.
Twice he was Ukrainian champion in the long jump (1998-1999)
Roman Schtschurenko is 1.88 m and weighs 82 kg.
