Romanel -sur -Lausanne is a municipality in the district of Lausanne in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

Geography

Romanel -sur- Lausanne is located at 592 m above sea level. Level, 5 km north- northwest of the canton capital Lausanne ( straight line ). The suburban community of Lausanne extends to a plateau southwest of the Jorat, east of the valley system of Mèbre, in the Vaud Mittelland.
