Rome Adventure

Adventure in Rome is an American film drama from 1962 by Delmer Daves. The screenplay of the film based on the novel Lovers Must Learn from Irving Fineman.

Action

The librarian Prudence Bell gets a reference from their school because she has a student allows you to read in an indexed book about love. She quits her job and travels by ship to Italy to yourself to learn something about love. On the boat she meets the elegant Italian Roberto Orlandi know who likes willing volunteered to be their teacher in matters of love. Prudence, however, wards off the advances of the gallant Roberto.

In Rome, Prudence finds a job in a bookstore. She lives in a boarding house, in which the American student of architecture Don Porter has descended. Dons wealthy and pampered girlfriend Lyda returns to the States. Now, Don begins to meet with Prudence. They spend their summer together and drive across Italy. Prudence begins to fall in love with the students.

When they are back in Rome, Don of Lyda is expected. For a battle for Don is Prudence feels too inexperienced. She puts on her best dress and visit Roberto, who in his turn repels Prudence's advances. He does not want to mimic the elegant Lyda. Prudence decides to return to the U.S.. When the ship docks in New York, she sees Don on the wharf, which they expected.
