Romeoville is a village in Will County in northeastern American state of Illinois. Romeoville Illinois and Michigan Canal was built on, about 40 km southeast from downtown Chicago. History

Romeoville in 1835 as a port on the Illinois and Michigan Canal newly built, of the Des Plaines River made ​​navigable there.
