The Romer -Simpson Medal (English: Romer -Simpson Medal ) is the highest award of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology (Society of Vertebrate Paleontology ) for " sustained and outstanding scientific achievements and contributions in the field of vertebrate paleontology " (sustained and outstanding scholarly excellence and service to the discipline of vertebrate paleontology. the award was named after the American scientists Alfred S. Romer and George G. Simpson.
