Romero Britto

Romero Britto ( born October 6, 1963 in Recife ) is a Brazilian neo- pop artist.

Work and life

Romero Britto, who since 1987 working in Miami representatives of Neo - Pop Art is known for its cheery colorful paintings and sculptures. With its novel mode of expression, it reflects his optimistic positive attitude towards life. Here he can be influenced by old and modern masters. In his colorful works Romero Britto combines elements of cubism, pop art and graffiti. His collectors include celebrities such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, David Caruso, Pele, Andre Agassi, Senator Ted Kennedy, Eileen Guggenheim and many more. He has made art projects for companies and organizations such as Absolut Vodka, NFL, Cirque du Soleil, Disney, Evian, Pepsi, Volvo, Royal Caribbean International, Unilever and BMW and in 2005 he was appointed ambassador of Florida Art. In 2011 he set a Best Buddies Friendship Bear in front of the O2 World in Berlin, in order to remind people with an intellectual disability, which inspire the society.

Family

Romero Britto was born the seventh of nine children, is married and has a son.
