Ron Henley

Ronald Watson Henley ( born December 5, 1956 in Houston, Texas) is an American chess player.

Ron Henley was in 1980 awarded by the FIDE International Master title. In 1982 he won jointly with Walter Browne, a round-robin tournament with 26 participants in Surakarta / Denpasar in Indonesia. For this achievement he was awarded the grandmaster title.

He is a chess writer and chess trainer, among other things, Irina Krush, works. About the world championship match in 1996 Henley wrote together with Anatoly Karpov, as its Sekundant he worked, the book Elista Diaries (ISBN 1-88335-822-1 ).
