Ron Shaver

Ronald "Ron" Shaver ( born June 16, 1951 in Galt, Ontario) is a former Canadian figure skater, who started in a single run.

Shaver was 1973, 1974 and 1976 Canadian Vice-Champion behind Toller Cranston, after his resignation, he was Canadian champion in 1977. From 1973 to 1977 he participated four times at the World Championships, his best result was fifth place in Munich in 1974. The 1976 Olympics he had to give up after he had finished the duty on position 6 and the short program in 3rd place at the World Championship in the same year he took no part.
