Ron Waldron

Ronald Gwyn "Ron" Waldron ( born December 14, 1933, Neath, Neath Port Talbot ) is a former Welsh rugby union player and coach. He played as a pillar.

Waldron received his entire playing career at Neath RFC, which he made ​​as a coach in the 1980s became the dominant club in Wales. In 1965 he came to four inserts in the national team during the Five Nations. In 1990, he took over the management of the country's selection as coach. Of the ten games under him, however, only two were won. After the tour of Australia, which ended with a 71:8 defeat to the Waratahs, he retired from his post.
