Ron Zacapa Centenario

Ron Zacapa Centenario is a rum from Zacapa region of Guatemala, which is produced by the Licorera Zacapaneca founded in 1930. The brand is now equal parts Licoreras Industrias de Guatemala and the food multinational Diageo. The rum matures at a height of 2300 meters in the mountains, where it is stored in burnt- bourbon oak barrels. Its special flavor he gets in that it is stored for a short time in Spanish sherry casks. The aroma is reminiscent of chocolate and coffee, the taste is similar to the cognacs.
