Ronald Brautigam

Ronald Brautigam (born 1954 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch pianist.

Life

Brautigam studied in Amsterdam, London and in the USA at Rudolf Serkin. In 1984 he received the " Nederlandse Muziekprijs ", the highest musical award in the country. Since then Brautigam makes music with international orchestras.

In addition to his performances on modern instruments Brautigam is regarded as one of the exponents of the pianoforte. Published in 2004 the first episode of a 17 part, rehearsed on the fortepiano Beethoven cycle.
