Ronaldus " Ronald" de Boer ( born May 15, 1970 in Hoorn ) is a former Dutch football player. His ten minutes younger twin brother Frank de Boer is also a well-known football player and played the majority of his career in the same team. Career

His career began in 1987 at Ajax Amsterdam, where he was already active as a youth player. Together with his twin brother Frank he played until January 1999, Ajax (from mid-1991 to early 1993 he played on loan at FC Twente Enschede), before he moved to FC Barcelona with his brother.
