Ronald Kauffman

Ronald Lee " Ronnie " Kauffman ( born December 25, 1946 in Seattle, Washington ) is an American former figure skater, who started the pair of running.

Along with his younger sister Cynthia Kauffman, he was from 1966 to 1969 U.S. champion in pair skating over the years. The couple took from 1964 to 1969 at the world championships. At the World Championships in 1966 in Davos, 1967 in Vienna and 1968 in Geneva, she won the bronze medal, always near Siegen Lyudmila Belousova and Oleg of Protopopov from the Soviet Union. The Kauffmann run two Olympic Games. 1964 in Innsbruck they were eighth in Grenoble and 1968 they finished sixth. They were the first pair that showed a throw -Axel.
