Ronald Leigh-Hunt

Ronald Leigh- Hunt ( born October 5, 1920 in London, † 12 September 2005) was a British actor.

Life

Ronald Leigh- Hunt received his acting training at the Italia Conti Stage Academy. He played many years in different English-speaking theaters including in London's West End.

In addition, since 1950, he appeared as an actor in over 100 movies and television productions. He played in horror movies like Omen (next to Gregory Peck ) and Frankenstein ( with Patrick Bergin in the title role), in war movies such as Sink the Bismarck by CS Forester, rich in dramas such as Oscar Wilde ( with Robert Morley in the title role ), Le Mans ( with Steve McQueen ) and Poor girl, a television biography of the Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton (played by Farrah Fawcett ), thrillers such as L - The Silent ( with Rod Taylor), comedies such as VIP ( with James Robertson Justice and Leslie Phillips) and period films like The Messenger of God ( about the history of Islam starring Anthony Quinn ) and Khartoum ( with Laurence Olivier).

Leigh Hunt was known in his home primarily for his series roles. From 1956 to 1957 he represented the legendary King Arthur in the adventure series The Adventures of Sir Lancelot and 1968-1973 he played as Colonel Buchan, the main role in the family series The Freewheelers. In addition, he has guest starred in numerous television shows such as General Hospital, The Avengers and melon, Doctor Who and Remington Steele.
