Ronchi Valsugana
Ronchi Valsugana ( in the Trentino dialect: i Ronchi, German outdated: Raut or Rautberg ) is an Italian comune in Trentino in the autonomous region of Trentino -Alto Adige with 426 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012). The municipality is situated approximately 24 km east of Trento and belongs to the Comunità Valsugana e Tesino.
History
Constance in the peace of 1183, the area around Ronchi Valsugana is first historically known. Even during the late Middle Ages, the area is mainly inhabited by people of German cultural space as document the names of the residents.
