Ronen Altman Kaydar

Ronen Elimelech Kaydar Altman ( born October 1, 1972 in Tel Aviv) is an Israeli author, poet and translator.

After completing his studies with the B. A. in mathematics and physics at the University of Tel Aviv Altman completed his military service. He then studied history and philosophy of science in Tel Aviv and graduated with a MA from.

Altman Kaydar is a graduate of ' Helicon ' poet - school (1997 ), in which his poems were first published. In 2000 he published his first novel, Chaos Butterflies, 2007, his first book of poems, Bite Marks, published. His poems have been translated into English and Russian. The Israeli composer Avner Dorman set to music two of them; they were performed at a music festival in Görlitz.

Since April 2009, Altman Kaydar along with Anat Avissar editor of the online journal Zuta. He was the first who translated the works of Masha Kaléko into Hebrew and published it. His last project was the edition of the poetry book The Wilds of Days of Inbal Cahansky. Altman Kaydar is also co-author of the screenplay for makeup.
