Ronney Pettersson

Ronney Pettersson ( born April 26, 1940) is a former Swedish football goalkeeper.

Career

Pettersson debuted in 1958 for Djurgårdens IF in the Fotbollsallsvenskan, but could not prevail, and came into the second team. It was not until 1966 he was able to establish the gate, and was with the club Swedish champion. He was then for the first time appointed to the Swedish national team, where he graduated 17 international matches until 1969. Then he was replaced by emerging Ronnie Hellström and was at the World Cup 1970 only substitute. After the season in 1970 he finished after 112 first division matches his active career.
