Ronny Bruckner

Ronny Bruckner (actually Jaron Bruckner, born March 31, 1957 in Brussels; † August 4, 2013 ) was a Belgian entrepreneur.

Career

Ronny Bruckner got into professional life at the age of 20 years as director of the company Zidav one, which specialized in trade with Romania, Poland and the former Yugoslavia.

In 1981 he founded a group of companies, which is known as the East Bridge today, and was Chairman of the Board. Eastbridge is a Luxembourg private companies with more than 40 subsidiaries in Europe and the U.S. and more than 10,000 employees. The company is a part dedicated to the real estate market (the group is mainly involved in 25 % of the company Texas Real Estate Information SA, a developer who is listed on the Euro Next since September 2010), on the other hand, to leisure, media, fashion and private schools.

In 1994 Ronny Bruckner together with Eastbridge the company Empik, a Polish chain of stores on the multimedia market, which can be compared with the FNAC in France and in May 2009 was one of 134 stores in Poland and 23 stores in Ukraine.

In March 2011, Ronny Bruckner was elected as a non- executive member for a period of 3 years until the annual general meeting of shareholders in 2014 to the Supervisory Board of Ageas.
