Ronquières

Ronquières ( Walloon: Ronkière ) is a district of the municipality Braine -le- Comte in the Walloon region in Belgium. Until the Belgian municipal reform in 1977 Ronquières was an independent municipality.

Internationally known, the village was named after him Schiffshebewerk Ronquières in the course of the Canal Charleroi -Brussels, whose lower end is located a few hundred meters from the town center.
