Geography
Ronsberg lies in the Allgäu region and flows through the Eastern Günz.
Community structure

History
On the Ronsberg the Lords of Ursin built in 1130 after she moved her new family castle. Previously they were for about 980 resident in Irsee. The call to end for their new headquarters Ursin - Ronsberger rose in 1182 in the Marquis stand on. In 1212 they went out in the male line. The 1546 market place Ronsberg was raised since the 13th century seat of a reign. This whole under Austrian sovereignty was divided between the Principality of Kempten and the Abbey Ottobeuren. The place itself was in Ronsberg kemptischen part of the rule. Since the Imperial Diet of 1803 the place belonged to Bavaria. The construction of the first parish church in Ronsberg took place from 1845 to 1847.
Incorporations
On January 1, 1972, incorporated as part of the municipal reform of the hamlet Bihls from the formerly independent municipality Willofs. The remaining area of the disbanded community was reclassified according to Oberguenzburg.

The municipal tax revenue in 1999 amounted to the equivalent of 979 T € of which were converted to € 177 thousand ( net) trade tax revenue.
