Ronssoy

Ronssoy ( Picard: Roncheu ) is a commune with 98 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the department of Somme in the Picardie region of northern France. The municipality belongs to the canton Roisel and is part of the Communauté de communes du canton de Roisel.

Geography

The municipality is situated on the D58 road department, which belongs to the system of the Chaussée Brune skin, directly on the border of the Aisne department (municipality Lempire ). The Autoroute A26 runs through the eastern part of the township.

History

The community that came in the First World War as the last in the area of the department back under French control, received the Croix de guerre award as 1914-1918.
