The Rio Roosevelt is a Brazilian left tributary of the Rio Aripuanã in the Amazon region. It is approximately 640 km long and rises in the state of Rondônia. On the Rio Roosevelt, there are strong rapids and waterfalls.

Was discovered in the river in 1909 by Brazilian adventurers Cândido Rondon, who then gave him the name because Dúvida Rio ( "River of Doubt "). 1913-1914 Rondon was looking the river again. The aim of this second expedition, which is known as Roosevelt Rondon expedition was to clarify whether the Rio da Dúvida flows into the Amazon was. Rondon was accompanied by former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, in whose honor he renamed the river.

Since the pronunciation of " Roosevelt " in the Lusophone space is problematic, the Rio Roosevelt is sometimes also referred to as Rio Teodoro.
