Roosevelt Skerrit

Roosevelt Skerrit ( born June 8, 1972) is a politician dominicanischer. He is the acting prime minister of the Caribbean island.

Skerritt was nominated on 7 January 2004, one day after the death of his predecessor Pierre Charles for succession and sworn in a day later in this post. Previously, he was in the cabinet of Charles Minister of Education.

Since 22 October 2007, he also took advantage of the post of foreign minister, which he gave on 18 November 2008 Vince Henderson. On 4 January 2010 he took office again.

Skerrit is currently one of the youngest leaders worldwide. He graduated from the University of Mississippi and is one of the Dominica Labour Party on.

During his presidency away Dominica continues on from the United States and approaches China and Venezuela.
