Roost-Warendin

Roost- Warendin is a commune with 6157 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Nord, in the Nord -Pas -de -Calais.

Roost- Warendin is about 7 km from Douai and 42 km from Lille.

History

Roost- Warendin is the merger of the former municipalities and Roost Warendin, historically were both mining towns. The local bay is the last abandoned the region.

Castle of Bernicourt

The Castle of Bernicourt was built beginning in 1743 over an area of ​​25 acres. Until the beginning of the 20th century, it was a mansion.
