Rorschwihr

Rorschwihr is a municipality with 396 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in Alsace region of France. She is a member of the Association of Municipalities Ribeauvillé.

Geography

The community Rorschwihr lies at the foot of the Vosges, between Sélestat and Ribeauvillé. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.

In Rorschwihr there are field names as Rotleibel, Moenchreben, Kappelweg, Weingarten, Oberer Weingarten, Pflaenzerreben, web vines, Grasberg, Kugelberg, Lach vines, Silberberg and Silberberg Upper. The municipality is situated on the Alsace Wine Route.

Attractions

  • Church of Saint- Michel, built in the 19th century. Formerly stood on the same spot a church from the 13th century.
