Ros Drinkwater

Ros Drinkwater ( born February 14, 1944 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a British actress, dancer and photojournalist.

Life

The Glasgow-born Ros Drinkwater comes from an Anglo-Irish family. My grandfather served in the British Indian Army. Before turning to acting, she was for a time worked as a dancer in Las Vegas. Since the mid- 1960s, she appeared in several episodes of well-known British television series. Among 1968 played the title role in an episode of the highly successful series in Germany Simon Templar, in the Roger Moore.

Her most famous role was in the television series Paul Temple (1969-1971), which originated from a story by Francis Durbridge. Here she played on the side of the title character, played by Francis Matthews, his wife Steve. According to the script her maiden name Louise Harvey should have been, but that does not coincide with the early radio play (term 1938-1968 ). There she was known before her marriage Steve Trent and was a Fleet Street journalist. The series was produced by the BBC in collaboration with ZDF (Taurus ) film in the first international co-production of television history.
