Rosa 'Camp David'

Camp David is a deep red rose variety. The Hybrid Tea was founded in 1984 by Mathias Tantau jun. hybridized.

The rose variety is almost black buds that brighten during flowering to carmine. Compared to many other species, the color does not fade in the sun. The flowers have a slight fragrance and have a diameter of about 13 cm. They retain their closed form and grow long, solitary, so they are valued both as cut roses in the garden. The rose is, however, not been brought to market in Germany and is known in Australia.

The robust bushes have an average height of 1.5 m, are very weather - and disease- resistant, and bloom in spurts over the summer.
