Rosche is a municipality in the district of Uelzen, Lower Saxony. The community Rosche is the administrative seat of the velvet municipality Rosche.

Geography
Geographical Location
Geographically, the area is to the community attributable to the Uelzener pool, it lies to the east of the Lüneburg Heath. The surrounding area was once a heath, marsh and wetland in the creek during the Wipperau.
Community structure
The municipality consists of the villages Rosche Borg, Gauel, Göddenstedt, Good Göddenstedt, Hohenweddrien, Katzien, Nateln, Neumühlestrasse, Polau, Probien, Retzien, Rosche - Prielip, Schwemlitz, Schmölau, Stütensen, Teyendorf and Tsar Thien and Göddenstedter mill.
History
The first mention of the village are from the years around 1130.
Incorporations
On 1 July 1972, the municipalities Borg, Göddenstedt, Hohenweddrien, Katzien, Nateln, Polau, Schmölau, Schwemlitz, Stütensen, Texendorf and Tsar Thin were incorporated.

The Council of the Municipality Rosche is made up of 13 council women and councilors.

Mayor / Administration
Honorary Mayor Michael Widdecke ( CDU). The municipal director of the council has the general representative of the velvet municipality mayor Rolf appointed music. The administrative affairs of the municipality to be done in Samtgemeinde City Hall.
Coat of arms
The coat of arms of the municipality Rosche is split into red and gold. Left a 12x feathery silver ash leaf. The right is a blue wave Bach, accompanied by a blue top and bottom millstone of a blue ploughshare.

Sports
Sports Club of the place is the SV Rosche, where several sports are offered. The football team played the first men in the late 1990s in the national league Lower Saxony.
