Rose Cleveland

Rose Elizabeth Cleveland ( born June 13, 1846 in Fayetteville, New York, † November 22, 1918 in Bagni di Lucca) was the sister of U.S. President Grover Cleveland, who twice held the office of president. The first time (1885-1886) was Rose Cleveland at the beginning of the term of office of the First Lady of the United States.

After her brother had married on June 2, 1886 Frances Cleveland, she gave from her position as First Lady to the latter and began a career as an educator. Rose Cleveland died in Bagni di Lucca of the Spanish flu.
