Rose Garden, Coburg

The Coburg rose garden is a green space in the ketch suburb. It is in the west and south of the Ketschendorfer, bounded on the east by the Alexandrinenstraße and in the north by the Berlin court. The " heyday " of the rose garden was in 1929, when there the German rose show was organized. To date, the rose garden is for many city dwellers a place of peace and tranquility.

Customs Bauernwiese

Kongresshaus Rosengarten

At the northern end of the Coburg Rose garden is the Congress House. Planning for the future

The future of the Rose Garden and the convention center are uncertain. The new downtown concept ( NIK ) provides for a change of Angers and also these buildings, planning of an urban design competition include the demolition of the Kongresshaus and the transformation of the rose garden with a displacement of flood fountain on the north side.
