Rose Leslie

Rose Eleanor Arbuthnot - Leslie (born 9 February 1987 in Aberdeen, Scotland ) is a Scottish actress.

Life and career

Rose Leslie was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and attended Millfield School in Somerset, England. After she graduated from 2005 to 2008 a drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, which she graduated with a bachelor's degree.

She first appeared on television, she had 2008 in the docu- series Banged Up Abroad. It was followed by a role as Rhian in the TV movie New Town, for which they in 2009 a Scottish BAFTA Award for New Talent won. 2010 she played throughout the first season of the ITV series Downton Abbey, the role of Gwen Dawson.

Since 2012, Leslie can be seen in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones than Wildling girl Ygritte.
