The Roselle (Hibiscus sabdariffa ), also Sabdariff Marshmallow, Marshmallow Sudan, African mallow or Karkade called, is a plant belonging to the mallow family ( Malvaceae ). It is located in Southeast Asia.

Description

The Roselle grows as annual herbaceous plant, reaching a height of 2 to 3 meters rarely. Most vegetative plant parts are soft hairy. The upright stem is purple. The leaves are stalked 2-8 cm long.
