Rosemary Brown (spiritualist)

Rosemary Brown ( born July 27, 1916 in Stockwell, a suburb of London; † 16 November 2001) was an English music media.

Rosemary Brown took claim for themselves, were forwarded by late composer new works. Especially in the 1970s, she attracted media attention with the statement, Liszt, Brahms, Bach, Rachmaninov, Schubert, Grieg, Debussy, Chopin, Schumann and Beethoven would have dictated their compositions.

Brown came from a humble background and had claims to be no regular musical education, apart from a few piano lessons in childhood or as a young woman. The assumption that it did in fact enjoyed a thorough musical education, but forget this fact as a result of severe amnesia, was rejected by Brown's family doctor. The Utrecht parapsychologist W.H.C. Tenhaeff certified Brown complete mental normality, and did not rule out a medial origin of their perceptions.

1964 Rosemary Brown began an intense musical self-study, 1965, she was organist in its spiritualist community. Since that time, she wrote hundreds of compositions (mostly for piano) dictated, according to his own statement of deceased composers down. In 1969 she was a test by the BBC subjected to where they should take during a broadcast connection with a composer, what their statement succeeded According to Franz Liszt. Since she could not play the piano piece written down, took a professional pianist the performance. Others, like the English composer Richard Rodney Bennett and Humphrey Searle, took the view that music can not in any case come from Brown himself.
