Rosenbad

Rose bath is the seat of the Swedish government and is located at the western entrance to the Strömgatan on the north bank of the Norrström in Stockholm's Norrmalm district and opposite the Swedish Parliament building ( Riksdagshuset ).

The Block rose bath includes four prestigious buildings of the turn of the century according to the plans of architect Gustaf Wickman, Aaron Johansson and Ferdinand Boberg. Rose bath was used until 1981 by the Swedish Parliament. After a renovation of the Swedish Prime Minister was referring there his offices, cabinet meetings are held here. The Justice Department is also located here.

In the immediate vicinity, along the seafront Strömgatan are more culturally and historically and architecturally significant buildings, the Sagersche House, official residence of the Swedish Prime Minister, the former Erbfürstenpalais ( Arvfurstens palats ), now Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Royal Opera House.
