Rosheim

Rosheim is a town in the Alsace region of France in the department of Bas- Rhin with 4862 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). The community is a member of the Communauté de communes du Canton de Rosheim.

History

The city was first documented in 778 mentioned as Rodasheim. Municipal law it receives in 1262, coupled with the right to build a city wall. 1303 Rosheim is Imperial City. 1354 is one of the cities that make up the Ten Cities and Towns.
