Roskilde Royal Mansion

The Museet for Samtidskunst ( Museum of Contemporary Art) in Roskilde is a modern art museum. It was set up in a former royal palace in 1991. The museum is located in the center of Roskilde. Called The Baroque building, and the " Yellow Palace ", is connected through the Absalonsbau with the Roskilde Cathedral. He was for King Christian IV built by Laurids de Thurah 1733.

Among the artists represented in the collection include Immendorff, Hermann Nitsch, Daniel Spoerri, Keith Haring, Rainer Mang and Dieter Roth.
