Rosporden

ROSPORDEN is a commune with 7334 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the west of Brittany in the département of Finistère and capital ( chef-lieu ) of the canton of the same. The city lies on the River Aven, which is dammed here to a lake.

Quimper is located 20 kilometers (km ) west, Lorient 40 km southeast, Brest 66 km north-west of Paris and about 460 km to the east.

The municipality has an exit on the highway E 60 (Nantes -Brest ) and a regional train station on the railway line Nantes- Lorient - Quimper -Brest - ROSPORDEN.

In Lorient and Brest are regional airports.
