Ross Taylor (ice hockey)

Ross Croft Taylor ( born April 26, 1902 in Toronto, Ontario, † 1984) was a Canadian ice hockey player. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.

Career

Ross Taylor played from 1926 to 1928 for the Toronto Varsity level, with which in 1927 the Allan Cup, the Canadian amateur championship titles won. The following year he took the degree Varsity Canada at the Olympic Winter Games. Prior to joining the Varsitiy degree he had already played for the Toronto Canoe Club in the senior championship of the Ontario Hockey Association.

Internationally

For Canada, Taylor participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1928 partly in St. Moritz, where he won the gold medal with his team. During the tournament he scored two goals in three games.
