Rosselange

Rosselange ( German Ross Lingen ) is a commune with 2865 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Thionville -Ouest and the Canton Moyeuvre -Grande.

Geography

Rosselange located just south of Thionville at an altitude 164-331 m above sea level. The municipality covers 5.35 km ².

History

The town was first mentioned as 775 Rocheringas and heard from 1659 to France.
