Rosslare Harbour

Rosslare Harbour ( Irish Calafort Ros Láir ), also called Rosslare Euro Port is a port in south east of Ireland near Wexford.

It was built in 1906 to provide a hub for ferry traffic to the island. Today the port is an important hub for freight transport between the European mainland and the Republic of Ireland. Rosslare Harbour is the starting point of the highway N25/E30, the main east-west long-distance services in Ireland.

The adjoining village has several inns, hotels, a Romanesque church, a bank and some shops.
