Rossow

Rossow is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in eastern Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). The community is managed by the Office Löcknitz Penkun based in the community Löcknitz.

Geography

The municipality is located on the western edge of the Randow break between the city and Pasewalk Löcknitz. The Polish border is 16 kilometers away. North of Rossow begins the lowlands of Ueckermünder Heath, south a Endmoränenbogen pulls on Randowtal along.

Districts

On July 25, 1952 Rossow was removed together with other municipalities from the Brandenburg until 1945 the Prussian district Prenzlau and assigned to the circle Pasewalk in the district of Neubrandenburg.
