Rossum (Overijssel)

Rossum is a church village in the Twente region, and the municipality spelled country in the Dutch province of Overijssel.

Rossum is located north of Oldenzaal and south of Ootmarsum. On 1 January 2006 the community numbered 2363 inhabitants. Due to the territorial reform of 1 January 2001, the village belongs to the municipality Weerselo. Rossum was in the past one of the many farmers' markets of Weerselo.

The world champion in show jumping at the World Equestrian Games 2006, Jos Lansink, and the volleyball players Elles Leferink were born in Rossum.
