Rostekhnadzor

RTN is the abbreviation for rostekhnadzor (Russian НАДЗОР, translates to "The Monitor " ) and referred to Soviet or Russian standards.

Explanation

RTN Approvals are required for hazardous production processes, such as during flammable or explosive processes, the use of the related accessories as well as in all other processes that could endanger human health and the environment.

RTN certificate is to use a permit, machines and products with the properties given above.

Common areas in which an RTN approval is required:

  • Valves and similar products, which are used in the oil industry ( refineries, etc.)
  • Any accessories in the oil industry, refineries
  • Freight and passenger elevators, escalators
  • Cranes
  • Air and gas compressors
  • Pressure vessels
  • All systems containing hot air transport, or produce
  • Electromechanical systems that require explosion protection / ATEX decrease
  • Special storage units, such as oxygen tanks, fuel tanks or other storage units, flammable or explosive materials.
  • Gas or fuel-fired heating systems
  • Welding equipment and accessories
  • Mining and mining industry, as well as the necessary accessories
  • Melting and bending processes of any metals
